Academic & Sports Program
Denison Pack 49

The Academic and Sports Program gives Cub Scouts an opportunity to explore areas that they would not normally study during the school year. Through the Academic Program, boys can see that learning can be fun, while providing more doorways to adventure. It all opens new worlds for them to explore. Through the Sports Program, boys develop physical fitness skills. But more importantly, they learn the value of teamwork and sportsmanship.

Boys can earn belt loops and pins in each area. Belt loops are earned by completing three basic tasks. Pins are earned by delving further into the subject area.

The Academic & Sports Program book is available through the Mid-America Council. The book not only outlines what the boys must do to earn the belt loops and pins, it also provides parents and Scouts with a rich source of information.

Clicking on each title below will open a .pdf form in a new window, which can be printed and submitted to your leader once you have completed the requirements for a loop or pin.
