Cubmaster Award (earned)

Click here to print out the tracking form for this award. To qualify for this award, the following must be completed:

 

Training

  1. Complete "The New Cubmaster" Fast Start training.

  2. Complete basic training for Cubmasters.

  3. Complete Youth Protection training

  4. During each year of tenure for this award, participate in a Cub Scout leader pow wow or University of Scouting, or attend at least four roundtables.

 

Tenure

  1. Serve as a registered assistant Cubmaster for one year and as a Cubmaster for one year, or serve as Cubmaster for two years.

 

Performance

  1. As a Cubmaster or assistant Cubmaster in a pack, earn the national Quality Unit Award at least twice

  2. At least once, earn the National Summertime Pack award.

 

 

 

Cubmaster of the Year Award (nominated)

This award is given by the Ohwahnasee District each year. Click here to print and complete the nomination form (in Microsoft Word format). Criteria is:

  1. Served as Cubmaster for the past two years.

  2. Attended 50% of all roundtables.

  3. Participated in popcorn sales.

  4. Unit participates in the annual Friends of Scouting campaign.

  5. Unit participates in district events.

  6. Has attended Cub Basic or New Leader Essentials / Cubmaster Specific training.
     

The nomination is usually due at the February District Roundtable.
