Other Rules

Racers will be divided into Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and WEBELOS divisions.  Each den will race off to the top three in each den.  In the case of multiple dens of the same age/rank group, the top two (2) from each den will race off to determine the winner for the age/rank group.

Each car will race a minimum of three times.  Usually four cars will race together.  Points will be awarded for finishing as follows, 1st = 4 points, 2nd = 3 points, 3rd = 2 points, 4th = 1point.  After all the cars in a den have raced all three times, the points will be added up, and the three highest totals will be awarded medals.  The top finisher in each division (Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and WEBELOS) will race in the final race off to determine the best in the pack and the trophy winners.  Top four cars are eligible to race at the District Pinewood Derby.

Trophies will also be awarded for: Best Workmanship, Best Paint, Best Detail, and Most Unique Design.
