About Us

Troop 55 is in the Ohwahnasee District of the Mid-America Council. We are chartered to the United Methodist Church, the Community of Christ (RLDS), and the Iowa National Guard. We have more than 35 registered youth and 15 adult volunteer leaders. We have members from Denison, Dow City, Vail, Kiron, Deloit, & Schleswig. Denison has a population around 7,500. Located centered between Sioux City, Council Bluffs, and Des Moines, it is a major meat processing and agricultural center.
